Cardiovascular Technologist & Cardiovascular Tech with Cath Lab
Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist for our Cath Lab in San Diego. The role provides essential support during invasive cardiovascular procedures, working closely with cardiologists and nurses.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in performing invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab setting.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and device functions throughout the procedure.
Ensure all equipment is properly cared for and maintained for optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with the medical team and provide patient education pre‑ and post‑procedure.
Adhere to safety and quality control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of full‑time experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist within the last 5 years.
Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Interventional Cardiology environment.
Certification: RCIS-CCI, RCVT, or ARRT (CI or CV specialty).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA‑approved).
Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced procedural environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
