Role Overview We are looking for a
Senior Civil Engineer
to provide advanced technical expertise and design leadership on
transportation, highway, water conveyance, and municipal infrastructure projects . This role involves working closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to develop innovative, practical solutions that meet community and environmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering design and technical analysis for a variety of
civil infrastructure projects , including highways, traffic systems, water pipelines, pump stations, and municipal improvements.
Develop design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports in accordance with agency standards and best practices.
Provide oversight and quality control for engineering deliverables prepared by junior staff and subconsultants.
Coordinate with permitting agencies, municipalities, and utility companies to secure project approvals.
Support project managers in preparing proposals, schedules, and budgets.
Review construction documents, respond to RFIs, and provide technical support during construction.
Mentor and train junior engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Contribute to innovation by recommending new tools, methods, or approaches to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Licensure:
PE required
5+ years of experience in civil engineering, including
transportation, traffic, highway, municipal, or water conveyance projects .
Demonstrated ability to perform and oversee complex design work.
Proficient in CAD, Civil 3D, and other design software commonly used in infrastructure engineering.
Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
