Overview
Manager, Claims Liaison at GEICO. This role leads and develops the Claims Liaison team, including supervising Supervisors and Associates to foster productive claims relationships with Independent Agents, agent support staff, and Claims divisions. Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Claims Liaisons to foster growth and high performance. Guide the team in responding to Agent inquiries with attention to detail and excellent customer service. Review work of associates, provide feedback, and recommend corrective actions to enhance service quality. Resolve procedural questions and provide technical guidance to the team. Participate in formal training and onboarding of new associates and supervisors. Collaborate with partners across Product, Sales, Underwriting, Service, and other divisions to ensure consistent communication and support for Independent Agents and their teams. Prepare and analyze reports on work volume, quality metrics, and team performance to drive improvements. Assist in developing plans and budgets to support departmental and organizational goals. Apply technical and industry knowledge to handle complex claims and support the team in resolving challenges. Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience in Independent Agent communication Knowledge of claims across multiple products such as Auto, Commercial, Motorcycle, RV, and/or Boat Ability to communicate clearly, empathically, and professionally by telephone Ability to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts, and manage priorities with strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task Willingness to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information Employment details
