Job Summary The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for a one-year fellowship defending Oklahoma’s interests in both federal and state courts in its Solicitor General Unit. Fellows will research and draft briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Oklahoma Supreme Court, and may assist in oral argument preparation.
Qualifications
Licensed and admitted to practice law in at least one state, or admission pending.
Demonstrated outstanding research and writing skills.
Familiarity with and interest in federal constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and Oklahoma constitutional law.
Judicial clerkship experience, especially at the federal appellate level, is strongly favored.
All applicants must agree in writing to complete and satisfactorily pass a background investigation.
