Job Description
Assist full Design personnel in the following activities:
Interface with external customers to provide electric service.
Design electric distribution facilities and perform various engineering studies using computer-based systems.
Work as part of a cross-function team to meet the needs of customers.
Assist in outage restoration efforts as needed.
Work is approximately 50% in office and 50% out of office, year round.
Work assignment complexity and responsibility grows with tenure of student employees.
Performs other duties as directed by management.
Education Requirements
Seeking Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering Majors to work a full-time schedule during the designated semesters.
Must be currently enrolled in school full-time, pursuing a bachelor’s degree as indicated above.
Preferred: Sophomore classification at minimum.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Job Requirements
Computer skills – familiar with various databases, as well as Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must have good communication and customer service skills.
