Your Role This position provides engineering support for pipeline, pump station, and terminal/tank projects nationwide. You will participate in a multi‑disciplinary project team in a lead role.

Perform duties under general direction.

Assign and review the work of subordinate engineers and project support staff.

Make important decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex matters.

Show proven sound judgment and initiative in the interpretation of policies, and in the planning and execution of important projects.

Develop and recommend improvements in design standards.

Pipe routing and overall facility site layout.

Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and P&ID Development.

Hydraulic calculations, line sizing, pipe material grade and wall thickness selection, and Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) calculations.

Equipment specification and sizing, including pumps, motors, metering, sampling, storage tanks, relief valves, pipe, valves, and fittings.

Development of project scopes of work, engineering design basis documentation, and construction bid packages.

Conduct field investigations and gather applicable data to support detailed engineering and design for both greenfield sites and the upgrade, modification, and expansion of existing infrastructure.

Coordinate and expedite procurement activities, reviewing and approving equipment and material specifications and technical data sheets.

Coordinate compliance and permitting efforts.

Develop detailed designs of pipelines, compressor/pump stations, and other facilities.

Perform cost estimating and schedule development.

May be required to seal engineering drawings as the engineer of record.

Qualifications

B.S. in an ABET‑accredited Engineering program with 5–15 years of relevant experience.

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE).

Willingness and ability to attain PE licensure.

Knowledge in the midstream oil & gas industry.

Strong understanding of applicable engineering standards (ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, etc.) and industry regulations (CFR 192, CFR 195, NACE, etc.).

Experience coordinating with client SMEs, stakeholders, and offsite team members.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Analytical skills with the ability to dissect problems and quickly develop solutions.

Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access.

Ability to travel up to 15 %.

Strong natural gas experience preferred.

PE licensure preferred.

NCEES record preferred.

Experience with hydraulic modeling software preferred.

Experience with pipe stress modeling software preferred.

Experience with AutoDesk software or other 3D design platforms preferred.

Experience with scheduling software, cost‑estimating software or spreadsheets preferred.

Pre‑employment drug screening required.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Target Salary Range $100,000 to $140,000. Salary is based on education, experience, skills, location, and other factors.
