Job Description Summary The Dr. Charles P. Darby Jr. Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston is seeking a full‑time physician to provide patient care at the outpatient clinic near Hilton Head Island (Bluffton, SC). The clinical effort consists of patient care 5 days per week. The provider will be responsible for medical documentation and coding these visits for filing purposes. Other clinical responsibilities may change with the needs and staffing of the division.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical patient care 5 days per week at Bluffton outpatient clinic.
Document and code patient visits accurately and in a timely manner.
Adapt to evolving responsibilities based on division needs.
Ideal Candidates
Board Certified or Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics
Committed to MUSC’s educational missions
Eligible for licensure in South Carolina
Strong interest in working with both typical and medically complex children

Practices located at the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Downtown Charleston, the Summey Medical Pavilion in North Charleston and a specialty clinic in Mount Pleasant
