As the Accounts Payable Specialist at GTI, you will be responsible for supporting accounting operations on our finance team.

Responsibilities

Code invoices, vouchers, check requests, and other documents with correct accounting codes in accordance with standard procedures and accurately enter them into the financial system.

Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email.

Obtain all supporting documentation for invoices (such as purchase orders and approvals) and upload documentation into the financial system.

Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing.

Reconcile various accounts by identifying and correcting posting errors or omissions.

Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries regarding account status, including communicating resolutions of discrepancies to the appropriate parties.

File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.

Support market lead personnel in various aspects of the accounting close process.

Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self‑directed, with the ability to follow up on pending issues independently.

Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including handling confidential information appropriately.

Additional Requirements

Must pass any and all required background checks

Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Must possess valid driver’s license

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Green Thumb Pay Range: $47,840 - $54,080 USD
