Responsibilities
Lead the development of camera pipelines and tuning processes to optimize image quality for smart wearable devices.
Innovate algorithms for image and video enhancement, addressing challenges like low-light performance, noise reduction, and dynamic range.
Establish scalable methodologies for camera tuning and image quality evaluation.
Develop metrics and benchmarks for assessing and maintaining high image quality standards.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of imaging systems.
Align camera system outputs with machine vision tasks and vision-language models for wearable applications.
Manage and mentor a team of imaging experts or provide technical leadership in cross‑functional settings.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Expertise in camera pipeline development, image signal processing (ISP), and image quality evaluation.
Proficiency in developing algorithms for image enhancement, including HDR, color correction, and low-light optimization.
Experience with machine vision applications, particularly involving AI-based systems like vision‑language models.
Knowledge of power-efficient algorithm design for wearable or embedded devices.
Familiarity with systematic tuning methodologies and automated camera calibration tools.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI-driven imaging solutions.
Knowledge of smart wearable design constraints and user experience considerations.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for image quality testing and automation.

Job Information 【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $208,800 - $438,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
