About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven
Director of Operations
to lead and optimize our food and beverage operations. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence across all locations, driving profitability, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all units (e.g. production facilities and distribution centers), ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing operations team, including regional managers, kitchen staff, and logistics personnel.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.
P&L Ownership:
Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability across all operational areas.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and internal quality standards.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity through data‑driven decision‑making.
Vendor & Supply Chain Management:
Oversee procurement, inventory control, and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost‑effective supply of goods.
Customer Experience:
Champion initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
8+ years of progressive experience in operations management within the food and beverage industry.
Proven track record of managing multi‑unit operations and leading cross‑functional teams.
Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Deep understanding of food safety standards, labor laws, and operational best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
