The Work This position requires experience in selecting and designing Electronic IO assemblies. This entails requirements review, component selection, creation of design packages, generation of test procedures. Candidate will work with either Intel(Quartus) and/or AMD(Vivado) building tools. VHDL code development will be the primary task in this role. The engineer will also be responsible for supporting the design development through the release cycle. The position requires research, design, development, and testing of complex electrical designs including documentation development, hands-on test and troubleshooting, and formal documentation of the electrical design. The programs require broad electrical support, including issue resolution to distributed I/O architectures, remote test station equipment and power distribution systems. Work across disciplines during integration and test activities is required. Participate in selecting and designing Electronic IO assemblies, including requirements review and component selection. Create design packages and test procedures; develop VHDL code as the primary task. Support design development through the release cycle. Research, design, develop, and test complex electrical designs; develop documentation and perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting. Provide broad electrical support across distributed I/O architectures, remote test stations, and power distribution systems. Collaborate across disciplines during integration and test activities. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Minimum of 4-5 years of professional level experience Knowledge of VHDL and low level firmware board support packaging development Experience with either Intel(Quartus) and/or AMD(Vivado) building tools VHDL code development Flexibility to support scheduled and unscheduled weekend and off-shift hours Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level Desired Skills:

Simulation/Testbench experience with higher level chip scenarios with Questa-Sim; SystemVerilog knowledge is a plus for simulation purposes Security Clearance

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules, offering additional time away from the office; PTO benefits apply. Schedule for this Position:

The annual base salary range for this position varies by location; salary information is a general guideline. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, and market conditions when extending an offer. Benefits offered:
