Lead Front End Developer - Vice President Join a front office engineering team building and evolving Deutsche Bank’s electronic trading platform for Fixed Income & Currencies. You’ll work across infrastructure, pricing, risk, and order/routing services—partnering directly with traders, sales, quants, and product to deliver resilient, high throughput, real time micro front‑ends supporting various trading workflows. As part of our global engineering team, you’ll contribute across the full product lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to production support—with a primary focus on building high performance, low latency, React applications that power our global trading operations.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and operate real‑time, event‑driven React micro-frontends for various trader workflows — optimizing for low latency and high throughput

Drive full‑stack solution design – work closely with developers across the stack to deliver end‑to‑end solutions

Engage business stakeholders (traders, sales, quants) to translate desk needs into technical designs and iterative deliveries for front‑office workflows

Champion solid engineering and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices - requirements/analysis, design patterns, code reviews, automated testing, secure‑by‑design implementation, and controlled releases

Collaborate with a global engineering team to develop modern solutions as part of tech transformation

How You’ll Lead

Experience driving technical deliveries across teams and mentoring and/or managing junior developers

Engage with business, product stakeholders and external clients effectively

Interact with global team leads and collaborate

Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
