Position Overview
Role: CRM Product Support Specialist in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division at Abbott. Location: Boston, MA.
Base Pay $75,300.00 – $150,700.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries on an as‑needed basis, demonstrating thorough command of all CRM products.
Develop, lead, and/or facilitate training sessions and other programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals.
Provide additional back‑up support to the Cardiac Rhythm Team in the following areas:
Sales support
Regional training seminars
Clinical studies/data collection
Trouble shooting
New product in‑service training to physicians, nurses, and sales representatives
Mentor and provide leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists
Continuously develop engineering, sales, and technical skills relative to the overall Arrhythmia Management strategy, including learning opportunities via senior sales personnel and management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Bio‑Medical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
4+ years of related experience or a program certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
Certifications in CRM products.
Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro‑physiology, or cardiac electro‑physiology procedures.
Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
Ability to apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines effectively.
Detail‑oriented and capable of working independently.
Effective collaboration with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
Extensive personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, for tasks such as graphics, word processing, databases, and authoring programs to develop presentation materials.
