Key Responsibilities

Full on-site day‑to‑day responsibility for all property management activities and functions.

Provide leadership, direction and training to all staff at the property.

Prepare and control budgets, manage payroll, bank deposits and financial reporting.

Oversee property maintenance (exterior and interior), unit leasing, collections and resident relations.

Ensure property is maintained in good physical condition and operates sustainably.

Handle staffing matters—hiring, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.

Develop and execute marketing campaigns for leasing and manage lease agreements.

Meet with residents, resident organizations and providers to address issues and improve the community.

Supervise outside contractors, negotiate contracts and ensure on‑time completion.

Comply with company policies, accounting, operations directives and all applicable laws.

Obtain required certifications or licenses and maintain compliance.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Experience

Two or more years of multi‑family residential property management experience with direct supervision of employees.

Multi‑family residential leasing experience.

Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred.

Preferred background in accounting, finance or administration.

Experience with Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or public housing is a plus.

Required Education/Training

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Two or more years of college preferred.

Required certifications or licenses or ability to obtain them within one year.

Required Skills & Abilities

Professional appearance and ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; maintain accurate financial records.

Valid driver’s license, driving record and vehicle (exceptions may apply).

Working Conditions

Primarily office environment with on‑site visits to residents’ units and property inspections.

May work around cleaning solvents, paint fumes and landscaping chemicals.

Evening, weekend and on‑call work may be required.

Salary Range:

$23.00‑$25.00 per hour.
