Position Summary This role will focus on partnerships across all global tech stakeholders to identify gaps, uncover opportunities, and drive alignment to how global tech is structured and operated. This role is not just about executing tasks — it is about adding value by connecting analytics, financial insights, and strategic storytelling into actionable outcomes. The role will be a key business relationship manager for our stakeholders, helping them navigate priorities while ensuring our work ladders up to enterprise goals.

About the Team The Tech Strategy team provides strategic clarity and alignment with Walmart’s global technology vision through data‑driven insights and comprehensive portfolio governance. This team emphasizes disciplined strategy development, effective stakeholder management, and technology enablement to deliver scalable solutions with measurable business impact. Focused on clear communication, goal setting, and continuous improvement, the team advances technology initiatives worldwide. Members leverage skills in quantitative data analysis, strategic planning, and performance management to drive innovation and operational excellence across complex programs, ensuring alignment and successful execution of technology strategies at a global scale.

What You’ll Do

Act as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, understanding their priorities and identifying opportunities to add value.

Serve as a “business relationship manager,” representing stakeholder needs and connecting them to team deliverables.

Translate complex analytics into leadership‑ready presentations that tell a compelling story.

Drive strategic planning rhythms, ensuring alignment with financial and corporate planning processes.

Provide thought leadership on problem‑solving approaches and push the team toward outcome‑focused rigor.

Foster cross‑functional collaboration and break down silos to drive shared success.

Proactively identify and scope opportunities; activate initiatives with minimal direction.

Demonstrate executive presence in engagements with senior leaders.

What You’ll Bring

6–10 years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or a similar role.

Strong financial acumen; able to interpret and use financial data to inform decisions.

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.

Strong presentation and storytelling skills; able to craft executive‑ready narratives.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives end‑to‑end.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Project Management.

Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design.

Experience creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge of accessibility best practices, and ability to integrate digital accessibility seamlessly.

Other Information Annual salary range at Sunnyvale, California: $143,000.00–$286,000.00. At Bentonville, Arkansas: $110,000.00–$220,000.00.
