About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an occupational health team focused on delivering high-quality care to patients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a brand-new facility in Modesto or at an established location in Ceres. You’ll play a key role in supporting workforce health through clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient exams and compile medical data
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, EKGs, labs)
Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations
Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care
Educate patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate on policy development and educational programs
Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold organizational values
Adapt to changing schedules and business needs
Participate in ongoing clinical training and development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related health field
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
Board certification and state licensure
DEA and FMCSA NRCME certification (CME provided if needed)
At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings preferred
Procedural proficiency (e.g., suturing, foreign body removal) preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Knowledge of occupational medicine, clinical operations, and workers’ compensation
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to participate in continuing education
