Salary Range:
$119,000 - $155,000*
Job Description Saks Global is the largest multi‑brand luxury retailer in the world, operating flagship stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, plus a suite of e‑commerce platforms. As QA Automation Lead, you will deliver comprehensive testing strategies, lead a team of testers, and drive automation initiatives across front‑end, API, and end‑to‑end workflows.
Responsibilities
Define the testing model and strategy for assigned projects.
Determine testing approaches and identify automation opportunities to improve quality.
Draft, review, and maintain test scripts for SIT/UAT.
Coordinate and lead testing activities with cross‑functional teams to ensure deliverables are met.
Work closely with developers and product owners to resolve issues and log defects.
Create and maintain testing artifacts (test cases, scripts, conditions, expected results).
Update test scripts in alignment with production releases.
Identify and implement automation tools where applicable.
Map test cases to business requirements and functional designs.
Document test execution results and perform negative testing.
Troubleshoot test logs and support log/queue reviews.
Report defects and track resolution.
Attend daily stand‑up meetings with onshore teams.
Utilize QA test‑management tools to track test progress.
Additional Responsibilities
Apply testing methodologies and processes across the organization.
Design and deliver comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.
Advocate for test automation to increase efficiency and coverage.
Lead and mentor a team of testers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Plan test resources, schedules, and scope.
Execute quality assurance processes to detect defects early.
Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Promote best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Measure test effectiveness and maintain metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years as a Test Lead.
Proficient in automation for Front‑End, API, E2E, CI/CD, and performance testing.
Experience in retail (preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
