Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot fixed wireless backbone and associated network equipment.
Perform fault analysis and remediation across various technologies, including switching, digital, and optical systems.
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, vendors, and field technicians during service-impacting events.
Conduct preventive maintenance, including firmware upgrades and recovery procedures.
Execute maintenance-level activities such as configuration changes, hardware upgrades, and system reloads on platforms like Mikrotik, Siae, Ubiquiti, and Meraki.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24x7 operational support.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
College degree or 2+ years of technical experience in Fixed Wireless or Network Operations.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP routing and protocols (BGP, OSPF, subnetting).
Proficient with Layer2 network protocols (STP, VLANs, Ethernet, LACP).
Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, SSH, SNMP).
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS).
Programming/scripting in a network environment.
Fixed Wireless systems.
