KX News and the Dakota's CW are seeking a Sales Account Executive to generate advertising revenue through strong client relationships and innovative marketing solutions. Position Summary: The Sales Account Executive plays a critical role in driving station revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects, and selling clients on the power and impact of television and digital advertising. With comprehensive training, supportive leadership, and a team that values creativity, this position offers the perfect platform to achieve your career goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities ·

Revenue Growth

: Implement strategies for existing and prospective clients to consistently grow revenue across linear and digital. ·

Client Relationships

: Establish credible relationships with the local business community. ·

Sales Calls:

Engage with both existing and prospective clients to present advertising ·

Account Management:

Maintain assigned accounts while proactively developing new business opportunities. ·

Presentations

: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs. ·

Advertising Strategy:

Educate clients on the benefits of television and digital advertising, crafting solutions that promote their products and services effectively. ·

Scheduling & Placement:

Develop advertising schedules and ensure seamless placement in station media. ·

Creative Collaboration:

Work with clients and station teams to develop engaging advertisements that achieve measurable results. ·

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned to support the sales department's overall success. Requirements & Skills

: · Minimum of one year of Sales experience. · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. · Proven ability to achieve long-term objectives and execute strategic plans effectively. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic computer knowledge. · Knowledge of Comscore, Nielsen, Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales a plus. · Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
