Build relationships with children and parents
Set up and lead daily activities
Supervise children ages 6 months - 10 years of age
Learn and attend to needs of children in Kid Zone
"OK, I'm sold!" What do I need to qualify?
Must be 16 or older
Knowledge of basic child supervision techniques
Ability to work with and interact with a diverse group of children and parents
Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Course may consist of either a blended class or an in-person class. Certification must be maintained and current at all times.
Ability to stand, sit and stoop to attend to a child's needs
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Ability to see and supervise children
The physical, visual and auditory ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to react to emergency situations in an indoor or outdoor environment
