Join Pega’s Public Sector Business Officer team, a group dedicated to supporting and streamlining business relationships with government customers. Picture Yourself at Pega: You’ll be at the heart of Pega’s Public Sector operations, guiding contracts and procurement processes for Federal, State, and Local government clients. Imagine yourself advising sales teams, ensuring compliance, and driving deals to completion of the closing process on government procurements transacted through government GWACs and other contract channels in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. You will be directly involved in all aspects of managing Pega’s Public Sector operations, and in staying current on all required responses, filings, certifications, and other required process and compliance documentation. As a key team member, you’ll be a trusted resource for both internal stakeholders and external partners, making a real impact on Pega’s public sector growth.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

Support government customer procurements, license renewals, option exercises, and other transaction requirements.

Ensure contracts with customers, partners, and vendors meet legal, policy, and operational standards.

Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and have a deep understanding of software licensing and service agreements.

Manage the full contract lifecycle: organize digital records, track key dates, process renewals, amendments, and extensions.

Prepare and review a variety of agreements (software licenses, NDAs, SLAs, Teaming Agreements).

Collaborate with the Business Office & Commercial Operations team to manage contracts and ensure compliance.

Support RFP/ RFQ responses, including Reps & Certs, drafting quotations.

Facilitate and assist to perform FAR & DFAR flow down compliance reviews and responses.

Establish Contract License Landscapes to create a historic timeline of the contract lifecycle.

Conduct research on federal and state requirements to maintain regulatory compliance.

Support RFP/RFQ responses, including certifications, quotations, and compliance reviews.

Help develop and implement contract policies, procedures, and templates to improve efficiency.

Who You Are:

Detail‑oriented and highly organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in contract management software and tools.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a cross‑functional environment.

What You’ve Accomplished:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.

Prior experience with and deep working knowledge of State, Local and Federal acquisition processes, including an understanding of the FAR, and experience with GWACs, government reseller processes, prime contracting procedures, and compliance certs and reps.

Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.

Prior experience with software licenses and technology pricing (preferred).

Understanding of software revenue recognition (preferred).
