Responsibilities
Assemble, install and/or maintain PV systems on rooftop, ground mount, or other structures.
Measure, cut, drill, work from height, perform minor electrical work, assist with structural upgrades.
Use hand and power tools, read plan‑sets, follow direction and safe work practices.
Loading and unloading company vehicle with project materials.
Loading and unloading materials to and from the roof/structure being installed.
Assemble all roof components in an efficient and safe manner.
Perform electrical work as instructed by the crew lead, both independently and under direct supervision.
Install projects adhering to Freedom Forever plan sets.
Flash penetrations as needed to ensure project quality.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Freedom Forever policies, applicable codes (NFPA‑70, IRC, IFC, CA‑T24, etc.).
Strictly follow all safety regulations and policies.
Follow all direction given by senior members of the crew.
Provide recommendations for efficiency and compliance gains.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate directly with end users when required.
Domestic travel may be required.
May be required to drive a company vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or GED.
6 months to 1 year of PV installation experience (Preferred).
Fundamental understanding of all PV products installed by Freedom Forever.
Basic understanding of building standards and applicable codes.
Ability to communicate professionally and concisely.
Compliant installation of conduit (EMT, RMC, IMC, LFMC, FMC).
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Complete all assigned Freedom Forever training modules by due dates.
Optional training may be completed at employee’s discretion outside business hours.
Physical Demands
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Stand, walk, or run for long periods.
Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.
Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
Repeat the same movements.
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
Determine the distance between objects.
Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
Make precise adjustments to machine controls.
Hold arms and hands in one position or steady while moving.
Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
Lift 50+ pounds.
Maintain stability in unstable positions.
Travel Requirements Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work. Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
