KTVB 7, TEGNA's NBC Affiliate in Boise, ID, is seeking a temporary Account Manager to join our dynamic forward-thinking sales team. We're looking for a driven, self-motivated candidate to book orders and track/execute complex day-to-day booking details of accounts while maintaining good communication with sales team members, clients, and strategic partners resulting in campaign performance delivery. This is a Sales support role and reports to the Local Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Digital and/or broadcast order entry with high level of accuracy; attention to detail is a must.
Request, update and monitor digital/broadcast creative scheduling.
Participate in campaign execution and creative asset tracking for all advertising
Manage the startup process for digital/broadcast campaigns with an active role onboarding calls as needed
Monitor campaigns to ensure campaign delivery.
Attends Sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product, and process information.
Manage and communicate campaign/order issues to management and team
Work as a liaison with 3rd party vendors/traffic team.
Other duties as assigned by sales managers
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of account engagement in a professional, fast paced sales environment preferred.
Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effective as part of a team and independently.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
Familiar with broadcast and/or digital adverting solutions/metrics a plus
Multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt quickly to change
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficient with WO Traffic and/or other broadcast/digital order systems
Proven track record of exceeding expectations
