Job Overview: Vaco is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting practices and principles, along with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. As an Accountant, you will be essential in maintaining precise financial records, ensuring adherence to regulations, and aiding in management’s decision-making process. Main Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Record and analyze financial transactions, ensuring accuracy within the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support the budget and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data and analyses. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Collaborate with various teams to gather financial data and provide insights for business decisions. Assist in preparing financial information for audits and act as a liaison with external auditors. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, policies, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred. Relevant experience (typically 2-5 years) in accounting or similar roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulations. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail for accurate financial reporting. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $75-90k

. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
