Manufacturing Supervisor (Wax Injection) - 2nd Shift (Mentor, OH) Air Power Dynamics (APD) is part of the Consolidated Precision Products family of companies - located in Mentor, Ohio.

APD has been supplying pattern assembly for the Investment Casting Industry for more than 18 years.

This position requires an experienced manufacturing supervisor. If the candidate has wax injection experience, that’s a plus!

Also requires excellent attendance and at least 5 years in a supervisor role.

Responsibilities

Maintain Production Schedule

Maintain Quality Standards

Direct/Supervise Employees

Resolve Production and Scheduling Issues

Communicate Information to hourly personnel and management

Hold employees accountable for job responsibilities

Assess machines for repairs

Update schedule as needed

Do quality checks during the shift

Review Production Report per Injection Employee

End of Shift Checks (presses are clean and all safety switches are intact, etc.)

Any additional responsibilities required of the position

Education

Minimum of High School Diploma

Good math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide)

Lift Truck Operator Certificate a plus

Language Skills

Must be able to read and understand directions related to customer specifications

Bilingual is a plus

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
