In the role of an Electrical Designer, you'll be responsible for: Working for a specific discipline, under the supervision of an Architect/Engineer or other technical professional. Creating and maintaining the discipline model, systems, content, and digital delivery output based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope. Generating BIM elements in accordance with project requirements and standards. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals for guidance and direction. Modeling BIM elements accurately using current 3D software. Preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within project scope, schedule, and budget. Maintaining the discipline model, including project information, coordinates, scales, and views. Producing discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations. Monitoring and improving company standards and model health. Coordinating design with other discipline models through reviews and 3D coordination processes. Executing additional Digital Delivery requirements as needed. Required Qualifications: Technical degree or at least 3 years of related industry experience. Proficiency with 3D design software and document management systems. Competency in Microsoft Office and communication tools. Experience with 3D coordination tools. Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts. Our Values and Commitment: HDR is our company.
