This position reports to Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
Provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including organization, shifting priorities, and critical situations.
Assist management in implementing staff movements during vacations, illnesses, machine outages, or shifting priorities.
Focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Help allocate, coordinate, and oversee shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.
Serve as a leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and resolve technical, quality, and logistic issues.
Qualifications for the role
High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Specialist technical and engineering skills.
Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
