Salary Range: $60K$80K+
Location: In-office (not a field role)
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented
Estimator
to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for accuracy and excellence. Essential Responsibilities Prepare and assemble material and labor costs for proposals and client projects Conduct subcontractor solicitation and manage pre-qualification tasks Analyze and insert equipment and material pricing into estimates Ensure estimates meet schedules, protocols, and project specifications Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and completeness Research cost history and maintain updated databases Provide preliminary pricing for indirect and general conditions Review plans, specifications, and commercial terms for cost and risk items Prepare value engineering analyses and pricing options Ensure accuracy and validity of estimate clarifications and assumptions Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 3
years experience
as an estimator in electrical construction or related field (equivalent experience considered) Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred) Strong understanding of industry practices, codes, and standards Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required); Trimble Accubid v16 (preferred) Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities Ability to collaborate effectively across project teams and stakeholders Strong research, proposal writing, and presentation skills Working Conditions General office environment (in-office role, not field-based) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range of $60K$80K+ Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Company-paid life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement and profit-sharing plan Paid time off and holiday pay Additional wellness and financial benefits
