Overview Were seeking an experienced
Inpatient Night Pharmacist
to join a high-acuity hospital pharmacy team in California.
Required Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years
of hospital pharmacy experience (400+ bed facility preferred).
Compensation Travelers:
$2,500$2,700/week (taxable + stipends, based on 4x10 schedule) Local Candidates:
$48$55/hour (without stipends)
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient and acute care pharmacy services. Manage and monitor therapeutic drug levels and clinical dosing adjustments. Support interdisciplinary teams with medication therapy management. Prepare and compound medications, IV piggybacks, IV pushes, and analgesics. Participate in code responses and provide emergency pharmacologic support. Adhere to all sterile technique and compounding standards.
Experience in: Anticoagulants, Antibiotics, and High-Risk Medications Pharmacokinetic, Renal, and Geriatric Dosing Pediatric and Cardiac Dosing Clinical Dosing and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Compounding, Sterile Technique, and IV Administration Psychotherapeutic and Pain Management Medications Code Response and Critical Care Environments Allscripts
EMR experience required. Residency training (PGY1) preferred but not required.
Certifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Required BLS
Required ACLS
Required Active
California Pharmacist License
Required at time of submission
