Job Summary: Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team and play a critical role oversees the full lifecycle of server storage products including JBOD storage products, from planning and development to launch and ongoing enhancement. The role blends technical and business leadership and works closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the products meet customer needs and business goals. This position will be located in San Jose, CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): * Lead the development and integration of storage hardware including JBOD/JBOF into server and data center solutions, collaborating with engineering or firmware design teams to adopt and integrate key storage technologies. * Define and manage the product roadmap, architecture, and Product Requirements Document (PRD) for storage systems including JBOD/JBOF, setting out clear market goals and technical objectives. * Oversee project management throughout the full product life cycle, from concept and design to release and support; ensure timelines are met and schedules controlled. * Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to position products, craft go-to-market strategies, support promotional activities aimed at increasing product adoption, and helping to translate customer needs into product requirements. * Coordinate monthly product forecast reviews with procurement, sales, and management to align inventory, demand planning, and operational priorities. * Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform new product features, enhancements, and differentiation opportunities for JBOD solutions, for Hyperscalers and enterprise market. * Support pre-sales and post-sales customer interactions for technical advice, solutions validation, troubleshooting, and sustaining supports like RMA, Failure Analysis, ECO implementations. * Set and monitor business metrics and analyze market data to refine features or identify growth opportunities for responsible product lines. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field is preferred, with 5 years of relevant industry experience. * Strong understanding of storage technologies (SAS, SATA, PCIe, NVMe), server hardware, RAID, and JBOD architectures. * Previous experience in product management or technical roles involving storage systems, ideally including project lifecycle and roadmap ownership. * Effective communication and cross-functional leadership skills to coordinate with engineering, sales, procurement, and customer teams. * Proven ability to manage schedules, prioritize projects, and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Salary Range $93,000 - $150,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
