Reach Therapy Services has locations in Conway, Searcy, and Hot Springs where we provide pediatric occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and ABA services. Learn and understand various funding options available for families Educate families and assist with applying for these funding options Understand and complete credentialing process for providers Manage patient account balances Post payments electronically as payments are received using billings software or manually when needed Post adjustments in our billing software per EOBs and transfers balance to other payers as necessary (as EOBs are received) Monitor EOB/notices from funding sources of non-payment/partial payment and resubmit with corrected/requested information Work with funding sources to resolve problems with payments in a timely manner Notify appropriate staff of funding problems Stay current on payer updates and recommend billing software updates that are needed due to upcoming changes by funding sources Follow-up on past due claims Research claim as necessary to ensure funds are collected in a timely manner Assist patients with billing questions and/or balance inquiries and provide patient estimates Ideal Candidate Skills:
Time management, organization, and prioritization Attention to detail & accuracy Verbal and written communication skills Teamwork and relationship building Flexibility to work well both independently and as a member of a team Results-oriented, self-motivated Working knowledge of third-party payers such as Medicaid and Medicare Working knowledge of ERAs and EOBs Working knowledge of payer specific guidelines Understanding of health plan benefits (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) and eligibility verification Understanding of CMS billing rules/NCCI, HIPAA and RMH policies and procedures, billing edits and payer requirements for Professional Billing Working knowledge of EMR systems Strong computer and keyboard skills which includes MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) when working with patients or co-workers Excellent customer services skills to interact with patients in a positive, cooperative, and courteous manner Experience:
