JustinBradley’s client, a AAA insurer, is seeking an

eBilling Analyst

to join their team. The eBilling Analyst will be a key member of the Legal Operations team, responsible for managing and supporting the firm’s electronic billing, matter management, and outside counsel engagement processes. This role will ensure compliance with billing guidelines, optimize eBilling workflows, and serve as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders, outside counsel law firms, and vendors.

Remote, but must be local to the Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the ebilling system, including invoice submission, review, validation, and approval workflows.

Manage the onboarding and maintenance of outside counsel firms in TeamConnect, handling rate submissions as required.

Act as primary point of contact for outside counsel and vendors regarding billing guidelines, invoice submissions, and system troubleshooting.

Monitor eBilling queues, resolve exceptions, and elevate issues as needed.

Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into legal spend, accruals, budget vs. actuals, and outside counsel performance.

Partner with Legal Operations leadership to continuously evaluate and improve billing processes and system functionality.

Ensure compliance with corporate ebilling guidelines and outside counsel engagement terms.

Deliver customer service‑oriented attitude.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in eBilling, legal operations, or law firm billing roles.

Hands‑on experience with TeamConnect, Collaborati, and other eBilling platforms.

Experience with case/matter management systems, document management systems and legal operations workflows.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external law firms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Prior experience working in a corporate legal department or with outside counsel law firms.

Understanding of accruals, budgets, and legal spend management.

Familiarity with TAP workflow automation (design, testing, and administration).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field; or equivalent experience.
