Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
About the Company Korn Ferry has partnered with a growing international organization focused on optimizing global cash flow, trade operations, and financial performance. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a Trade Finance & Working Capital Specialist to play a key role in managing financial guarantees, supporting liquidity planning, and enhancing working capital efficiency across our global business operations.
Position Summary The Trade Finance & Working Capital Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the issuance, monitoring, and management of financial guarantees and working capital facilities. This role requires strong analytical and relationship management skills, as you will work closely with banks, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support the company’s financing and liquidity needs. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of trade finance instruments, guarantee processes, and working capital optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end process for bank guarantees, letters of credit, and surety bonds, including issuance, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
Coordinate with banks, insurers, and legal teams to ensure all guarantees comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Support the Treasury and Finance teams in managing working capital facilities, including revolving credit lines, factoring, and supply chain finance programs.
Monitor guarantee exposure, facility utilization, and counterparty limits; maintain accurate reporting in internal systems.
Prepare cash flow and liquidity forecasts, incorporating guarantee and working capital facility data.
Partner with business units to identify opportunities to optimize working capital (receivables, payables, and inventory management).
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.
Support annual and quarterly reviews with banks and credit insurers.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives related to trade finance and treasury operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in treasury, trade finance, or working capital management roles.
Strong working knowledge of URDG 758, UCP600 and ISP98.
Strong knowledge of guarantee instruments, letters of credit, and trade finance documentation.
Experience working with international banks and corporate finance structures.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with treasury management systems (TMS) or ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
