We are looking for a

Supervisor

to oversee daily operations, team scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You will provide hands‑on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily team operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity, material coordination, and employee relations.

Provide direct support, guidance, and on‑the‑job training to team members.

Foster strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction.

Promote a culture of safety by leading new employee safety training and conducting quality‑control inspections on maintenance activities.

Support Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance.

Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.

Participate in shift handovers, team briefings, recruiting efforts, and performance reviews.

Participate in scheduled and ad‑hoc meetings, training sessions, airport tours, and audits.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license required.

3 years of maintenance experience.

1–3 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.

Availability for on‑call support and work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.

Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial technology, or related field.

Prior experience in airport baggage handling, airline ground operations, or facility maintenance in a 24/7 operational environment.

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of Supervisor, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required include good close‑proximity eye and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand‑eye coordination is required.

Work Environment While some administrative duties may be performed in an office setting, the role primarily involves on‑site supervision in airport ramp areas, mechanical rooms, and baggage system enclosures. Work environments may include:

Elevated platforms or confined spaces

Active aircraft operations zones

Areas near conveyor systems, motors, or electrical panels
