Position Overview We’re seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to play a key leadership role in our newest concept Capon's Chophouse. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to menu development, drive kitchen performance, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead BOH operations including scheduling, inventory, ordering, and prep systems

Maintain a positive, productive kitchen culture that fosters learning, accountability, and excellence

Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety (DOH compliance a must)

Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring hourly kitchen staff

Contribute to seasonal menu planning and daily specials in alignment with concept and brand

Ensure consistency and execution of all dishes during high-volume service

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as Sous Chef or higher in fast-paced, upscale or chef-driven kitchens

Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in multi-unit or high-volume settings

Deep understanding of modern culinary techniques, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen systems

Financial literacy for labor management and cost of goods

Years of experience with ordering and inventory management

Experience with relevant online restaurant management platforms (Margin Edge, Dinemarket and Toast)

Passion for hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement

Servsave management level (or ability to obtain)

Spanish language skills a plus
