Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Union Station Area)
Schedule: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with alternating Fridays off.
Pay: up to $57/hour DOE
About the Role As an IT System Administrator III, you’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise systems across both
Windows
and
Linux
environments. This position focuses on
database, web, and application administration , ensuring reliable, secure, and optimized performance for business-critical systems.
You’ll administer, maintain, and troubleshoot critical
SQL Server, SharePoint, and web applications
to ensure reliability, performance, and security for large-scale IT environments.
What You’ll Do
Administer and maintain
Windows Server (2012+)
and
SQL Server (2012+)
environments
Support
SharePoint ,
IIS , and
Apache
web platforms
Install, upgrade, patch, and optimize systems and applications
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions
Assist with
disaster recovery planning , data backups, and system security
Collaborate with senior administrators on new projects and implementations
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
(Master’s preferred)
4+ years
of relevant experience (2+ years with a Master’s)
Proven hands‑on experience with:
Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server administration
SharePoint and web server configuration ( IIS ,
Apache ,
Tomcat )
Data management, system testing, and security best practices
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Skills & Experience Expert knowledge of:
Windows Server 2012+ ,
SQL Server 2012+ ,
SharePoint ,
IIS , and
Apache
Database and web system administration
principles, data management, and integrity
Security best practices
and layered protection methods
