This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. Primary Purpose

To provide comprehensive

Azure -centric technical leadership in manufacturing systems, overseeing cloud-based architectural design, secure data integration, and implementing AI-driven analytics to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of manufacturing solutions on

Azure , ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-optimized integration with plant control systems, SAP, and Fabric services. Define and implement governance frameworks for

Azure

architecture standards, data handling, and application performance. Oversee and manage code development efforts, setting technical standards and guiding both internal and external teams. Translate complex business requirements into robust, integrated solutions across

Azure , SAP, and Microsoft Fabric platforms. Develop and design

Azure -native applications, data pipelines, and APIs to support real-time data flow, analytics, and AI/ML applications. Implement data integration and quality standards, leveraging

Azure

and Fabric services to streamline data processing and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ML/AI models into the manufacturing ecosystem, enabling predictive maintenance, quality optimization, and operational insights. Drive continuous improvement through automation and advanced analytics initiatives. Mentor team members on

Azure

cloud architecture, data engineering, and AI practices. Provide root cause analysis and resolution of production issues, ensuring reliable cloud-based solutions. Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and architectural blueprints for compliance and scalability. Requirements (Education, Skills, and Abilities)

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience 10+ years in application development, with 5+ years in Azure architecture and cloud solution design. Proven expertise in Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, Data & AI workloads), SAP manufacturing systems, .NET, and Microsoft Fabric. Strong background in data architecture, integration, and analytics. Demonstrated experience in applying AI/ML algorithms within manufacturing systems. Technical Skills Proficient in Azure cloud services (App Services, Data Factory, Synapse, AI/ML, Security, Networking), SAP MII, .NET, SQL, and Fabric. Knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SOAP) and experience with ML/AI platforms. Familiarity with C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, JQuery, XML. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Effective project management and leadership capabilities. Additional Information

Preferred Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent. Travel: Occasional (up to 15 days/year). Work Environment: Primarily office-based in Denver, CO, with visits to manufacturing sites as necessary. Johns Manville is not currently sponsoring employees for this role.
