Job Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by the hotel, which requires continuous visual inspection of guestrooms and public space areas including restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, lobby, halls, etc. Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum productivity and guest satisfaction with minimum labor and material costs. Monitor house count and make staffing adjustments. Manage finances of housekeeping operations including budget and inventory controls. Analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies, etc., in relation to hotel financial forecasts and budget. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction in assigning housekeeping and laundry staff in detail of work. Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performance reviews for the housekeeping department. Perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning. Verify and update status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift. Coordinate inspection or inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc., are clean and in good repair. Notify GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Education and Experience Minimum of high school education, post‑high-school education preferred. Minimum of three (3) years in a housekeeping management position.
