As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of nail services while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in color theory and nail design will help clients achieve their desired looks, while your communication skills will foster lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and care.
Apply knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades for their nails.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with health regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Upsell additional services such as nail art, hair extensions, or body waxing to enhance the client experience.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed suggestions to clients.
Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive atmosphere within the salon.
Experience
Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and cosmetology principles is essential.
Familiarity with various nail care techniques, including acrylics, gels, and natural nail treatments.
Experience in additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, or esthetic laser treatment is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions and inventory management is beneficial.
