Vault Communications
Account Manager (Public Relations)
Vault Communications, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States
We're An Anything but Typical Agency Seeking Anything But Typical Talent. Vault Communications isn't your typical full-service integrated communications agency. We're the scrappy, fun, and wildly creative Philadelphia area firm turning heads for our people-centered workplace (named one of The Philadelphia Inquirer's Top Workplaces in 2024 & 2025, one of Philly's Civic 50, and a five-time consecutive winner of the Philadelphia Business Journal Best Places to Work designation). Everyday, we come to work guided by our four Core Values – Heart, Hunger, Curiosity and Excellence – and we're looking for a seasoned communications professional who will embrace these values and emerge a well-respected leader in our firm.
What You'll Actually Do as an Account Manager As an Account Manager, you'll be the day-to-day heartbeat for client accounts, developing and leading everything from disruptive, innovative PR campaigns to deploying crisis communications strategy to executing day-to-day communications strategy to providing sage counsel and everything in between. You'll mentor emerging professionals, manage budgets without breaking a sweat, and give presentations that make clients swoon. Some days you'll be crafting the perfect pitch; other days you'll be problem-solving on the fly or leading a brainstorm that generates the kind of ideas that define careers. The best part? You'll have real autonomy and trust to make it happen.
What We're Looking For Someone with 6-8 years of PR experience (agency experience a significant advantage) who can write like a pro, present like a Ph.D., pitch media with a journalist's lens, and juggle competing deadlines without losing sanity or sense of humor. Our ideal candidate has the perfect mix of bigger picture prowess, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves humility, old‑school experience and appreciation for our craft, and new‑school savvy with emerging technologies that disrupt our industry. And if that's not impressive enough, our future Account Manager is analytical, organized and has excellent judgement and problem‑solving skills – and is proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
What We'll Bring to the Table A hybrid work setup in our new Conshohocken office, competitive pay plus bonus and profit sharing (because when we win, you win!), flexible scheduling, year‑round summer Fridays, 100% paid health benefits, generous PTO, and the kind of company culture that makes Monday mornings feel a little less Monday-ish.
