Overview
CDL Driver (Local, M-F Dayshift) at Mobile Modular Management Corporation. This role involves driving, setup, teardown, and handling modular buildings with a focus on safety, customer service, and on-time deliveries. What You’ll Do
Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and oversize load requirements. Transport portable containers, offices, and modular buildings on time and with care. Secure loads with straps and protective coverings for safe transit. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report mileage and maintain the vehicle. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and operations to ensure smooth deliveries. Provide professional, courteous customer service at each drop-off and pick-up location. Assemble and dismantle modular buildings using piers, pads, blocks, and anchors. Coordinate vehicle maintenance and conduct spot checks to address hazards. Perform minor roadside repairs as needed to keep operations moving. Complete end-of-day cleanup and equipment servicing to maintain a safe workspace. Use basic computer skills to manage logs, checklists, and customer sign-offs. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team. Safely operate equipment and transport setups, including ball hitch connections. Performs other duties as assigned. What You Bring (Must Haves)
A valid CDL A license At least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience Confidence using winches, straps, and tie-downs to secure heavy loads Readiness and physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including setup, maintenance, and teardown of modular buildings when not driving Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions A Real ID for compliance and travel readiness Nice to Have
Proven experience with oversize load hauling Hands-on experience transporting containers and/or modular buildings Familiarity with Landoll or Low-boy trailers Special Considerations
