Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, and acting as a liaison between inside technical/design staff and customer in developing sales proposals. Handles complex or highly specialized customer requirements. Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects (residential, multi-family and commercial) by collecting specification information from the client’s engineer or architect of record and conveying needs to technical staff and management. Troubleshoots field issues that are difficult or complex to resolve. Plans and conducts sales presentations, designs professional demonstrations of company products and services, and explains how solutions meet customer needs. Researches, identifies and solicits new customers; generates sales opportunities through client needs analysis, industry competition, and demonstration of product benefits. Keeps customers updated on products and services and explains how offerings meet current or future requirements. Participates in leadership activities such as chairing meetings, acting in the Sales Manager’s capacity during absence, and training less experienced staff. May provide training to less experienced Outside Sales Reps. Prepares recurring and special reports and documentation for management as required. Continuously enhances knowledge of sales techniques and product/industry knowledge through company-sponsored training; may present at training programs. Plans and manages own work to meet daily/weekly/project/productivity goals. Adheres to safety procedures to prevent injury and attends safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years of prior sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies
