Salary Range: $44,000 – $86,000

How You'll Make An Impact
Underwrites individual insurance applications to cover property and casualty with guidelines set for the issuance of policies on a standard or substandard basis.
Determines whether to accept, modify or decline a risk through evaluation of the property's value, location, usage, and safety features, and other information pertinent to the decision.
Has frequent contact with field to gather information on which to base and defend underwriting decisions.
Does not have any assigned Production goals.
May provide support to Underwriter Senior in servicing and management of accounts.
About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Behaviors: Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high ends of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by many factors, including experience, education, market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
