Responsibilities

Provide patient care and services under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.

Operate emergency department equipment and manage emergency procedures.

Support the team in a fast‑paced emergency environment.

Job Description Responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or equivalent testing.

IV certification and completion of an IV course for techs working with IVs.

License/Certification

Current BCLS certification.

Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or evidence of successful completion of an arrhythmia test.

Certified Phlebotomist preferred.

IV certification preferred.

Other

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
