Pediatric Ambulatory Hematologist
CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif.
CHOC Specialists is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Hematologist to join our well-established division of Hematology. This is a busy hematology service with enormous potential for growth in many directions.
The practice offers a full range of Pediatric Hematology services, providing expert, innovative and compassionate care for infants, children, adolescents, and, in some specialties, adults. CHOC Hematology also covers all stem cell collection and therapeutic apheresis as a foundational part of CHOC’s gene and cell therapy programs.
Clinical research is encouraged and pilot projects may be funded through the PSF reinvestment funds or CHOC UCI Research awards. Opportunities to teach include an excellent pediatric residency and fellowship training program with the University of California, Irvine, at which physicians also enjoy joint faculty positions.
Successful candidate will be fellowship trained and board certified / board eligible in pediatric Hematology and be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license. We are seeking candidates at any stage of their career with general interests in all aspects of pediatric hematology, especially vascular anomalies.
All faculty members share coverage for clinical services, teaching and research opportunities.
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
