ObGyn Physician Job in Florida
AdventHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced, board-certified OB‑GYN physician to serve as Program Director of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at AdventHealth Tampa. The Program Director will have a strong passion for teaching and will develop a state‑of‑the‑art program based at AdventHealth Tampa. The OB‑GYN residency is comprised of a total of 3 residents per year. You will be responsible for developing and leading the program in compliance with ACGME guidelines. Candidate should be interested in and experienced with a residency program to enhance program visibility and increase the number of accepted residents each year.
A minimum of five years of experience in Graduate Medical Education as an Associate Program Director or Program Director is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead the OB‑GYN residency program in compliance with ACGME guidelines.
Teach and supervise residents and medical students.
Provide patient care and perform surgeries.
Allocate dedicated administrative time for program management.
Select and mentor residents, enhancing academic activity through research, posters, and presentations.
Qualifications
MD or DO.
Active Florida license (or eligibility for an active Florida license).
Board certification through ABOG or AOA.
Five years faculty experience as a Program Director or an Associate Program Director.
Vision to increase academic activity, including research, posters, and presentations.
