Job Summary The Assistant General Restaurant Manager (ARGM) works under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations and ensure the successful implementation of Church's initiatives, programs, and financial goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assists RGM in training and staffing, preparing weekly schedules.
Supports staff during high-volume periods.
Administers all paperwork promptly.
Analyzes profit and loss statements to meet sales targets.
Maintains accurate inventory records.
Enforces company policies, procedures, and compliance.
Ensures federal, state, and local laws and ordinances are practiced.
Maintains a clean facility and delivers high-quality products consistently.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Education, Experience)
Minimum age 18.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
ServSafe® food safety training highly recommended.
Position Qualifications / Functional Skills
Valid driver’s license and insurance proof.
Minimum 40 hours per week; flexible shift including weekends.
Knowledge of restaurant policies, operational and human resources procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills; professional interaction at all levels.
Familiarity with profit and loss statements.
Ability to implement policies and procedures.
Coaching, counseling, and team development skills.
Customer satisfaction orientation.
Recruiting and interview skills.
Conflict resolution and supervision capabilities.
Positive work environment creation.
