About the Opportunity I’m partnering with a leading food manufacturing organization recognized for its innovation, quality products, and collaborative culture. They’re looking for a hands‑on Plant Controller to lead financial operations and partner closely with plant leadership to drive accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll take ownership of plant financial performance—leading forecasting, reporting, and analysis while helping management connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes. You’ll be the key finance partner supporting data‑driven decision‑making in a fast‑paced production environment.

If you’re a proactive, detail‑oriented financial leader who enjoys being close to the operations floor and shaping results, this role offers a strong platform for impact and career growth within a thriving manufacturing organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the full scope of plant financial reporting, forecasting, and month‑end close.

Partner with plant operations leadership to analyze key metrics and performance drivers.

Ensure all reporting aligns with GAAP and internal control standards.

Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and reconciliations in SAP.

Conduct monthly variance analysis and present financial results to management.

Lead annual budget and forecast activities, aligning with company objectives.

Support capital projects, ROI assessments, and new product launch analysis.

Streamline and automate accounting and reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Participate in cross‑functional business reviews and operations calls, leading the financial discussion.

Partner across sites to standardize KPI and performance reporting across the manufacturing network.

What They’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting.

Experience within food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing preferred.

2+ years of SAP experience strongly preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Confident working independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

Proven ability to present complex financial information in a clear, actionable way.

Why You’ll Love It There You’ll join a company that values people as much as performance. Expect a competitive base salary, 15% annual bonus, excellent benefits, and a collaborative environment where your insights and leadership will make a visible impact. This is a chance to grow your influence in an organization that rewards initiative and continuous improvement.
