Purpose/Summary
Work closely with warehouse leadership team to identify and resolve any issues that affect the timely processing of outbound orders. Monitor, report, and resolve issues with customer orders. Monitor DC reports for aging orders and analyze data to resolve customer complaints and shipping errors.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Management reserves the right to assign other duties as needed.
Run the "Warehouse Report Daily" report to identify all orders dated earlier than 72 hours to expedite picking and shipping. Identify missing items on an order and retrieve the missing items so the order can be shipped.
Monitor the Outbound In‑Box, KACE Ticket System, and Shipping phone and respond timely to requests from internal customers regarding outbound orders, including but not limited to:
Rush Order
Shipping Quote Request
Freight Upgrade Request
Cancel Order Request
Inventory check: compare on‑hand quantity vs quantity reported in system to troubleshoot missing items on order.
Utilize UPS World Ship machine to ship packages.
Ship PO orders and drop‑ship orders provided by inbound.
Prepare and ship all UPS freight palletized shipments.
Prepare and ship Cerritos "move orders" every Friday.
Clear in‑packing/printed orders from the manifest area.
Monitor balance on the postal meter machine and do timely money downloads to accounting.
Inventory "label tables" weekly and stock accordingly with package inserts.
Identify, resolve and report to management on trends that reflect warehouse inefficiencies or deviation from standard operating procedures, including recording all shipping errors on a spreadsheet to share with the management team.
Perform other outbound tasks as needed per business needs, including but not limited to completing consolidated orders, picking and packing high dollar orders, entering and manifesting pick tickets for showroom and customer pick up.
Qualifications (Experience/Knowledge/Systems/Applications or Equipment)
Strong knowledge of shipping processes.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong computer skills, specifically in Outlook, Excel, and GQ.
UPS Worldship experience a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to analyze and problem‑solve.
Ability to work with all levels and cross‑departmentally to resolve process impediments and issues.
Ability to work a flexed schedule as needed, including weekends and overtime.
Able to work in a warehouse environment and meet the physical aspects of the position.
RF gun experience.
Material handling equipment experience preferred.
