Job Summary / Description The ideal candidate will manage the newscast timing, flow, and pace. Keeps up with assignments, breaking news, and wires to make sure the newscast provides the viewer with the best information. Responsibilities will be to communicate with MMJs, the Assignment Manager, and the Assistant News Director to create a fast-paced, smoothly sequenced, and fact-based newscast daily. Please note - primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the information listed above.
Responsibilities Manage the newscast timing, flow, and pace.
Communicate with MMJs, the Assignment Manager, and the Assistant News Director.
Assist with breaking news and wire updates.
Ensure fact-based newscast content.
Qualifications / Requirements
Some newscast-producing experience, such as at a college level, is required.
